Regardless of what you followed when choosing Doodle Food (maybe you have a fussy eater at home? Maybe your dog has food intolerances or maybe you just wanted to provide him with the best nutrients), you should know the following.<\/span><\/p>\nWhen you have been given your food, it should initially be mixed with the food your pet is currently eating, so that the transition is as gentle as possible. Some dogs are used to the so-called monodiet. That is, they were given one type of food (e.g. dry food of the same type plus possibly modest flavors). This allows the intestines to get used to digesting a particular food and just adapt to it. This is why some dogs have intestinal problems when changing food or adding other ingredients to their diet - they are not adapted to digesting a variety of foods.<\/span><\/p>\nTherefore, remember a few things:<\/span><\/p>\n\n- Introduce food gradually over the course of 1-2 weeks. The exercises are supposed to be fast and effective, with plenty of repetition.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Do you take your dog for a walk and want to have some treats at hand? When preparing the rewards, you can portion and freeze some of them so that you can have them when needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/b>Food intolerance, allergies, intestinal problems?<\/h3>\n
Doodle Food<\/b> rely on a single protein source. This is called diet <\/span>monoprotein.<\/span><\/p>\nSingle-protein diets are primarily designed to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of food intolerances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nAt the root of food allergies is a disturbance in the absorption of certain foods, including specific types of proteins. The main role in the diagnosis of the causative agent of food allergy is played by an elimination diet, and here mono-protein foods come to our aid.<\/span><\/p>\nWhat is the pattern for such dogs?<\/span><\/p>\nFirst, the animal is fed a mono-protein feed with a known protein source for several weeks. If no negative reaction of the organism occurs, the next food rich in protein from another animal is selected for testing. Subsequently, additional types of mono-protein feeds are given until symptoms of allergy or food intolerance appear. Thanks to this, it is possible to precisely determine which protein is responsible for the appearance of allergic symptoms.<\/span><\/p>\nDogs with a sensitive gut will also benefit from a monoprotein diet. If your dog has a link between a certain type of food and symptoms such as gas, gas, vomiting or loose stools, eliminate him from the diet. These are the root causes. Now let us note the regularity below.<\/span><\/p>\nWe love our dogs and we treat them as members of our family - we want to take care of them. What we have coded first when I talk about taking care of our dogs - feeding our dog. We want to make sure our dog is well fed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nI want my children to be well nourished, so although they eat a sweet bar, half an hour later I would like them to eat a nutritious dinner that will provide them with all the necessary nutrients. We are not handing out a piece of chicken with sympathy. Dogs won't starve. As long as they are healthy, as I wrote earlier, they will eventually choose the food we offer them. However, they can play psychological games very well - oooooh sometimes they can keep us for a few days. Dogs, however, are not cats. In order to survive, a cat has to eat and a non-eating cat has to be rushed to the vet. In the case of our dogs, we just need to cut this emotional relationship between the food (as a source of care) and the dog. And here there is undoubtedly an emotional connection, which is why it is so difficult for us to be consistent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n- A healthy dog? Usually, we are able to see when something starts to happen to our pet. Food refusal in most cases is not a symptom of the disease. If you are worried, make sure your dog is not lethargic, consumes normal amounts of water, is normally active, is in no pain, has no digestive symptoms, has no fever.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- If you are currently giving any medications and want to add them to the food and add variety to it, do not do it, the dog will surely remember that something is being added to the food and will be waiting for it. The drug should be administered separately after eating. Preferably straight to the mouth.
