There are two categories of dry food available at Reico.
The first is this one cold pressed, which is below 42 temperaturze. You can then be sure that no valuable nutrients will be lost. The raw materials are mixed as in the case of wet food (read here). Then the mixture is passed through the press.
Pieces of dry food are formed on a matrix of the selected shape. Just like baking cookies at home. If we put the dough into molding through the press, it will take a certain form - that is, as dictated by the shape of the matrix. The pieces are then separated and dried. The temperature is controlled throughout the process so that it does not rise above it 42 ℃.
Cold pressed food is a balanced food suitable for all breeds of dogs, large and small. Importantly, this type of food does added mineral balance.
The next category is dry food cold formed. What does it mean?
According to proven and innovative technology, we shape it using the same mixture. However, it is not pressed through the press as before, but is fully exposed to compressed air. The pressure is so strong that the carbohydrates and the casings of, for example, beans are opened. Just like in popcorn. This corn is digestible. While corn kernels alone are not.
Animals need carbohydrate and protein in digestible form.
Formed food contains natural essential vitamins and trace elements. It is a mixture of natural origin.
So this process has huge advantages.
Use by date:
Both types of dry food are produced naturally. They are drained so that the final humidity was below 10% (within 8%). Precisely because of the low humidity, the feeds have a shelf life of up to 2 years. In the case of a natural product, this is a unique advantage. However, the product requires proper storage.
The bag should be securely closed with a clip. Never place it on a concrete floor or against a tiled wall. Separate the bag with cardboard, polystyrene or wood. We store it in a dry, clean place, away from sunlight.
